The vineyard estate rests upon a sloping hillside that has fertile soil. These soil deposits were a result of the glacier meltwater in the Mindel era. A clay/loamy composition of this land creates a well-drained, porous and iron-rich soil that adds mineral richness to our wines.
The hills of Asolo have always been inhabited even before the time of the Romans. Nevertheless, it was the Venetians that further developed and improved the production of wine. Wine was used for celebrations and guests, starting a tradition that reaches us even today.
Venetian Hills® wines celebrate the very soul of hillside fruit capturing the essence of the vine’s interaction with earth and sun creating a harmonious blend. Our farming is also based on long-term sustainability practices to enhance the quality of the air, soil and water on our estate and the surrounding region.
